The Aspen Hill Club’s staff is a blend of PTR professionals who are involved in state, regional and national competitions. They are skilled in the latest teaching techniques and offer private and group lessons for all ages and abilities.
| Jeff Klein (PTR) – Director of Tennis – Jeff has worked at the Aspen Hill Club since 1979. He has coached players from beginners to professionals playing in the US Open. Jeff brings a deep knowledge and commitment to all members. His teaching method is based
on understanding the mind/body connection that empowers students to accelerate their development. |

| John Parsley (PTR) - Junior Tennis Director - John brings over 30 years of experience and enthusiasm for tennis, including team tennis, tournament play and teaching experience over the last 12+ years with juniors and adults. |

| Jeff Fretwell (PTR) – Assistant Adult Tennis Director – Jeff joined the staff at AHC in 2008. He is a graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, where he played collegiate tennis. He also worked with the Van der Meer Tennis Academy in South Carolina and at their satellite site in Sweetbriar, Virginia, for two years. Jeff runs Hit and Run clinics, Instructional Drills, and many of our junior clinics. Jeff directs our Young World Class Player Development (YWCPD) group, which he created last Spring. |

| Norma Baker (PTR) – Staff Pro – Norma has been at the Club as a member and coach for over ten years. She heads up our Little Tennis and Beginner Programs using the Quick Start Method. Norma played her collegiate tennis at Hillsboro College in Florida and has also been a Tennis Coach at Jay Reynolds College in Richmond, Virginia. |

| Linda Baim (PTR) – Staff Pro – Linda has been involved in tennis as a competitive player, instructor and manager since 1980. For many years Linda was the Tennis Director at the Aspen Hill Club until she retired in 1998. During those years she was ranked both in the Mid-Atlantic and the Nation in doubles. She has since returned to the club to add her administrative and teaching experience to many areas of the tennis program. |

| Carole Ford (PTR) – Staff Pro – Carole has been at the club since 1990. Since retiring from the Pro Tour, Carole continued playing National tournaments and racked up a couple of Senior Women’s doubles Gold Balls. She does an exceptional job with Linda Baim working with many of the club’s competitive women’s tennis teams. |

| Marcus Ngbea - Staff Pro - Marcus has been with the Tennis Department since 2009. He played four years of college tennis at Morgan State University. He was also a Mid-Atlantic ranked junior. He is deeply involved in our junior program. |

| Michael Gee – Staff Pro – Michael, a top nationally-ranked junior, started off his collegiate career at Clemson University where he played on their men’s tennis team. Transferring to Howard University in his second year of college, Michael recently graduated with a degree in Political Science. While playing #1 Singles on the men’s tennis team at Howard, Michael was also named MEAC All-Conference 1st Team and MEAC Player of the Year. | Caryn Krasner - Staff Pro - A formerly nationally-ranked junior in both singles and doubles, Caryn has been ranked in the top 2 in the nation in doubles with Pam Shriver. She played #1 singles and doubles at the University of Maryland and has won various Mid-Atlantic titles in singles, doubles, and mixed-doubles. She is regarded as one of the areas top women’s doubles players. Caryn assists with many junior and adult programs and clinics. |

Ivo Njosa – Staff Pro - Ivo Njosa has been a member of the Club for 12 years. He has been assisting the tennis program since 2010. Ivo brings over 36 years of tennis experience to the Club. He started playing competitive tennis in high school, where he played as the #1 singles player at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. He went on to receive a tennis scholarship to Saint Augustine’s College, where he played for 4 years. He has been involved with tennis development around the world — taking advantage of professional assignments from his postings by the World Bank. He is highly-ranked in the 45-and-Over division.

Sol Lopez (PTR) – Staff Pro - Sol has been a member of the Club for over 22 years and joined the staff in 2010. She is highly involved in our junior program and assists with the adult program. Sol competes on local league teams and has volunteered for over 15 years with the Montgomery County Tennis Association. She continues to be active at the Maryland District and National levels of the USTA.

Jon Epstein – Staff Pro -
Jon Epstein was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. After a successful junior career, Jon became a member of the Division I Stony Brook University Men’s Varsity Tennis Team which obtained a NCAA Tournament berth in 2006. Jon played #1 singles and #1 doubles for Stony Brook University, where he also graduated with an Economics & Business degree in 2010. Jon was also a member of the USA team in the Maccabiah Games during 2005 and 2009. He won a bronze medal in Australia representing the United States for singles. He also played the Maccabi Games in Argentina in 2007 where he won a bronze medal in doubles. Jon has been the tennis director for 4 years at Sportstar Academy, which is an intense sports camp for 7 weeks during the summer in Swan Lake, NY. Jon is currently playing ITF tournaments, hoping to qualify for the ATP tennis circuit with the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. |
